The January to June 2015 issue of Beyond Health Care, the official publication of the Department of Health- Regional Office VI (DOH-RO VI), features the activities conducted to intensify the implementation of the Department’s Universal HealthCare High Impact Five (UHC Hi-5) strategy. This UHC-Hi-5 aims to produce the greatest improvements in health outcomes prioritizing the poor, with focus on five critical UHC interventions namely, maternal care, infant care, child care, HIV-AIDS, and service delivery network. It is hopedthat the Hi-5 strategy will provide tangible outputs “felt” within a breakthrough period of 15 monthsthrough synchronized implementation of activities nationwide. |
