The Departme nt of Health remains true to its commitment of delivering universal health care for all. Toachieve this, the DOH-Regio
nal Office VI, in partnership with local government units, allocated more than P822 million in 2014 to upgrade hospitals, BarangayHealth Stations and Rural Health Units all over the region. The DOH Annual Report of 2014features in its cover page the Barangay Health Stations in Tangalan and Ibajay in Aklan province which have undergone repair and renovation through the DOH’s Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) as well as the many activities conducted to provide quality and affordable health care to the Filipinos.
